The Bunkie

In April 2017, almost a year to the date we started at Wildwood we had a small 9'x12' bunkie built.

We had North Sheds build it for us and they did a great job.  Excellent communications, easy to work with and a great bunch of guys on the crew.  They pre-assembled the base and four walls and brought the sections and other materials needed to assemble it onsite. 

To save some money we opted to cut in the windows on our own later and to stain/finish it ourselves.  We did have the floor insulated and the entire building house wrapped so it'll be winter-ready if we insulate it.  It's tall enough that we will be able to put in a good sized loft later.  Although I really wanted to build it myself, for expediencies sake of getting a standing shelter up it was best to have someone else build it.  At part of 1 day a weekend it would have taken me a couple of months to finish this.

These guys started at 10am and were done by 3pm.  By 4:30pm we got their truck unstuck and they were headed home...LOL
