Viking time!
Our first test batch of mead. Honey, water, yeast and a couple of raisins. A little batch in a 2L mason jar. Cath loves all sorts of stuff related to potions/lotions/fermenting...so she was keen to do this in anticipation of collecting honey from her bees. We'll see how it goes!
2nd test batch was 1 gallon, honey, water, yeast (a full packet) and things started a bit warmer. Maybe too warm/active too quickly...it started bubbling in about 15min and frothed up a bit.
Yes...J's too young to be drinking, but her handwriting is neater than mine!
