Just about almost nearly just about finished...
It's built...door fitted...screened in...painted (mostly)...shingled (badly)...
The outhouse is almost done! Cath stapled in the screen and attached the last bits of trim. We took turns on a crazy hot day painting it inside and out. We didn't get to painting the inside of the roof since we were waiting for the paint on the floor to dry. We found that the roofing nails were too long for the roofing boards so we opted to cut a sheet of plywood to add to the top vs having an iron maiden house of horrors ceiling.
With the help of some friends to help ensure I didn't fall off and to pass up material I got a sheet of ply screwed down, tar paper stapled on and shingles nailed down.
All that's left is to paint the inside roof, cut an opening in the door for a bit of light/venting and screen it, cut a hole for the Nature's Head vent pipe, build in a little spot for a battery to power the vent fan and hook up a solar battery tender to keep the battery charged.
So it's done...with about a year's worth of finishing up work to go...
